When I called for help.....

Psalm 73: 15 If I had said, “I will speak thus,”
Behold, I would have been untrue to the generation of Your children.
16 When I thought how to understand this,
It was too painful for me—
17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God;
Then I understood their end.

28 But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord GOD,
That I may declare all Your works.

When I called on the Lord for guidance, this was HIS response.
What a great and wonderful God! He protects and guides me
whenever I call on HIM.

A day that will live in infirmary.... The enemy's healthcare.

Don't people realize that the United States of American is a country build on freedom. The freedom to choose, to live, and if necessary to die for lack of healthcare... such is our choice. We are a people who are great because of the freedoms that were fought for by great men who had no government healthcare and certainly would never have asked for it or fought for it.
They fought for our freedom as Christians. The main cornerstone of this country was built by men of faith in a God who gives us free will to choose. We are not the same as any other country in the world. We are the greatest and no matter what is said, we live in a country the is the envy of the world because of our freedom. I will fight for it and there are many who will.
The revolution must begin again.

Cleaning and more

My Oh MY ... I really need to clean house... actually clear it out. Got a note from Arc.. Now I call that perfect timing. Maybe a hint from my "superior" to clean house. I am such a pack rat. I just need to get rid of stuff.
Working on GNC so I don't have to later and also getting work together for the CYIA training on the 27th. It has occurred to
me that I can plan this and do it with prayer. HE always takes care of the day.
Thought there was a leak as my floor under the kitchen sink and the carpeting under the desk... wet. I am hoping it is all the
cause of a leak next door.He said he just fixed a leaky faucet. Poor man, needing work raising 2 teens and wife died 2 weeks ago of MS. (she had been in a nursing home for the last 5 years) So sad. They truly need the Lord and I am praying that God use me or who He will to tell them about HIM.
Well tomorrow the ladies are coming for prayer. I better finish straightening up.

Many moons ago a picture of HOF CYIA kids.
Beginning on a new plan to start our CYIA* this 2010. Many youth coming from Berean Baptist who Ann and Kay encourage and have been working on GNC and 5 day clubs for many a moon. There are at least 7 from HOF. Our wonderful God continues to open doors. How sweet it is to be part of that.

Good News and bad news

We are in our 4th week of Good News Club at Price Elementary and it is growing. So far 7 children have made decisions to trust Jesus for the rest of their precious lives. We have 39 children enrolled. We had a real missionary come this week... Miss Sue our CEF missionary who specializes in preschool and teaches all over the world 64 countries. What a blessing!
We have much to thank the Lord for as we have 7 teens coming to work with the kids and teach.
They are teaching 'Beginnings'... creation, Adam and Eve, Abel and Cain and this week Enoch. Ethan is doing a marvelous job and counseling the children too.
Sad moment today though, the office manager at Eagles' Landing informed us that we could not
teach Good News Club there this year. New management company she says doesn't want just one religion being taught there (;-( . Our God is in control and I believe He has plans we don't even know about.

Birthday lunch

A beautiful lunch was set out for the celebration of my birthday.
What a sweet time with Toni, Joseph, Johnny, Joshua and Daniel.
How God blesses this grandma!

Friday, August 21, 2009

Last week was such a blessing. (2nd week in Aug. 2009).... I was privileged
to transport 3 teens, 2 were grandchildren to South Padre Island. Elisa, Nicole and Kylee (dear friend of Elisa's). We stayed in a condo with other condos in the complex occupied by relatives!! God as always blessed our time spent with one another. Spent hours everyday on the beach and shared meals..It was grand. Just an added time to thank our wonderful God for all He does. His creation to see on the nature walk was breathtaking to say the least.
My little CRV Honda had been "repaired" before we left, but someone had made an error. It clanked the whole time all the way and back. I took it in to the mechanic and he was amazed it did not break down. He said, "Someone was certainly watching over you!" We know WHO don't we?Isn't HE compassionate... don't have time to tell all the wonderful things HE has done in the last few days and to add to it all the things we are not even aware of !!!

5 Day Club

John 15:16 (ESV)

16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

I pray that God would bless this club this week and many would come to the Father.

The Lord loves us so much!

2 Peter 3:8-10

8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare

The Delight of Despair May 24 By Oswald Chambers

"And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead." Rev 1:17
It may be that like the apostle John you know Jesus Christ intimately, when suddenly He appears with no familiar characteristic at all, and the only thing you can do is to fall at His feet as dead. There are times when God cannot reveal Himself in any other way than in His majesty, and it is the awfulness of the vision which brings you to the delight of despair; if you are eer to be raised up, it must be by the hand of God.

Numbers 33 is what God commanded Moses.... to record the stages in the 40 years of Israelites journey to the promised land.
Our Father in heaven, if that is what you desire of me.... I am listening and will obey. Come Holy Spirit, breath on me.
I pray that You, Lord will help me be faithful. Without You I am not able. I love You.

Maggie's Confirmation

Yesterday, Saturday, this grandmother, Mimi, was blessed to attend the confirmation of her son's eldest, Maggie at St. Mark's Catholic church. She looked radiant and wore a beautiful shawl of her own making!
It is so wonderful to know my children are growing in the Lord and also a blessing to know that my grandchildren are walking in the Lord.
My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever. Psalm 145:21

Saturday, March 14, 2009

Oh the joy of grandchildren. You can see these two are sweeties. Oh thank You Lord for how You bless me. This is Anna in blue and Mary Grace in rose. They were so much fun to watch at the North Texas Irish Festival.
